Speaker 1:

Now I want to share with you one of the most famous Bible verses about vision. Proverbs 29 18 says this where there is no vision, when people have no vision for their life, when they're just kind of coasting, kind of going through the motions of the grooves of life, where there is no vision, the Bible says the people perish. The people perish Another translation says they cast off restraint, which means they don't know what to do with their lives, which they don't. They don't know where to go. If you don't have a clear vision for your life, you don't know what to do with your life. The word vision there in the Hebrew is the word calzone, which makes me think of calzones, which makes me hungry right now. I want that Philly cheesesteak. One man, it's delicious, but anyways, what does that mean? It means a dream, a revelation or vision for life. One of the most important things you can do with your life is to have a clear vision for your life. If you because if you don't, you will cast off restraint, just kind of going wherever life takes you, wherever that disappointing conversation takes you, wherever that thing goes, you'll just go kind of through the motions. But a person let me put it this way. A person without vision is a person who lives without intentionality. Who lives without intentionality?

Speaker 1:

I love this verse in Psalm 126. It says this when the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream, he's saying. When God was active in our nation, in our lives, it was stirring freshness in our lives. Here, god wants you to see this Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. The word dream there is translated so close to the word health that the translators of the Bible didn't know which word to use there. So, in other words, you can. You can put it like this that when you have a dream and a vision for your life, that's when you're the healthiest. When you have a dream and vision for your life, that's when you're the healthiest. That's when you have health in your marriage. That's when you have health in your job, in your career. That's when you have health with your finances and your physical health. Come on someone, this is my year, hashtag HSB, hot summer body coming for you this year. You know those cookies get behind me, sorry. You have health with your kids.

Speaker 1:

See, a lot of people are battling with things and you think it's the thing, you think it's the person you think it's the problem that you're in a battle with, but truthfully, you are in a battle with not having clarity in your life. You are in a battle with not having vision for your life, because if you have a vision for your life, that negative person can't trip you up. If you have a clear vision for your life, that man, that circumstance or that depression or that anxiety, you got to step back. Because I have a vision for my life, I have somewhere I'm going, and nothing will get in the way. Let me show you again.

Speaker 1:

This verse, acts 2.17, says this in the last days, god says I will pour out my spirit on all my people. It's interesting A lot of times, when we think about God pouring out his spirit on us, we use words like revival, our miraculous things happening, which are true. Revival can happen when God pours out his spirit. Miraculous things can happen when God pours out his spirit. But check out what the verse says, though. Check out what happens when God pours out his spirit. It says this your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men and women will see vision. Your old men and women will dream dreams. What does that mean when God's spirit pours out on us. He brings clarity to our purpose. He brings clarity to the people you have, clarity with your life, with prophecy, vision, dreams. So what I'm trying to show you is this God has a vision for your life, god has a purpose for your life and, as an everyday person, god wants to show you, help you learn how to follow Jesus.

Speaker 1:

Now let's go back to this word vision. I love the way Eugene Peterson puts it in the message version of the Bible. He says this if the people can't see what God is doing, if people can't see what God is doing, if people are kind of just going through life and they don't know why this is happening in my life, I don't know what my purpose here is. I don't know what my calling is here. If the people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves, but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. I like that. I want to be most blessed, and this is what we want for you. This is what we here at LBC want for you. I pray for you almost daily, every single one of you. I just want to let someone know. Hopefully you don't think this is creepy, but I do it. If you have come to the church at least two times, I add you to a prayer, a morning prayer list, and I pray for you every day. Every day is my responsibility to pray for you, because what I want for you is that you will be able to have an authentic relationship with Jesus so that you can navigate the complexities of life, so that you can navigate them. So what are we gonna do? What are we doing? What are we supposed to be doing? Cause a lot of people are doing something, but you might not be doing the right thing. A lot of people are doing something, too many people are aiming at something, but it might not be the right thing to aim at.

Speaker 1:

I heard this very fascinating story from a pastor and he was talking about vision and it's, I feel, like it fit perfectly for this message. The story was back in 2004. Man, that's when I was 14. Dang Okay, it happened at the Athens Olympics. Okay, america, come on, we got the Olympics coming up next year. That's pretty exciting. America, usually that's pretty good at the summer games. You know we do pretty good.

Speaker 1:

But there's this one competition in particular that everyone knew America was gonna win like hands down. Everyone else in the competition was they were competing for silver and bronze cause. America had it under wraps and it was to be a guy named Matthew Edmonds. And now Matthew Edmonds, he was a rifle shooter. I didn't even know that was a sport. I've been to the shooting range before. This is one time I shot a shotgun and I went like doosh, that was hard. It hurt. My chest hurt after that, but he was a rifle shooter and he did a 15 meter rifle competition. Again, I didn't know that was a sport, but it is Okay. Now I don't know anything about rifle shooting. In my head you just point and shoot, right.

Speaker 1:

But check this out, it's not as easy as it seems, cause there's this thing called jerking the trigger, which could happen when you have a gun and if you're not in the correct position when you pull the trigger, you guys can lift your gun, move it and then it will go the wrong way. So these athletes have this unique ability to slow their heart rate down. They can slow their heart rate down so much that they squeeze the trigger in between heartbeats. That's pretty intense. So they can still their body so much that nothing moves.

Speaker 1:

So this guy, matt Edmonds man. He was an expert. He was an expert and he's gone through all the different positions. They did a sitting position, a standing position, a laying down position. He's hitting all the targets. He's crushing it. You know, by the time the end of the competition comes, he is so far ahead of everyone else that all he has to do is just hit somewhere on the target. That's it. He's gonna hit somewhere on the target and then he will win gold. Okay, so here you go. He can definitely do it. So this is what he does. He comes up to his last shot, he lines up, he slows his breathing down, he has his gun in position and in between heartbeats man, he pulls the trigger and he hits bull's eye on the wrong target. And my man went from easily winning a gold to now getting a bronze medal. And we have I think we have a picture of his face. That's a picture of his face. You can leave that up there for a second. That's a picture of his face when he recognized that he hit the wrong target. Let me say that one more time. That's his face when he recognized that he was aiming at something, but he hit the wrong target. He was aiming at one particular thing but his, but he hit the wrong target.

Speaker 1:

And this is also the face of I've seen over my 10 plus years of ministry of people who thought they were going after what God had for them, but they hit the wrong target. They thought they were going after the purpose God had for them, but they but they actually were hitting the wrong target. And my hope for you is that I can get that look off your face this year. My hope for you is that you don't have that look, because this is what it looks like when people thought I had the right job because it gave me the bonus, but it but it took time away from my kids. This is the face that people make when they thought I didn't need any help with my marriage, I thought we were good, but now I'm in a place I don't want to be. This is the face that people make when they thought they were sticking up for their loved ones by financially provided from them but missing the opportunities to be there in person for them. This is the face that people make when they thought they were being a good student of their money, but they lost a sight of generosity. This is the face that people make when they're stuck in a situation they didn't want to be in because they were aiming at something where they hit the wrong target. They were aiming at something to hit the wrong target.

Speaker 1:

I love what the 19th century evangelist, dl Hugley I mean DL Moody says. He says this our greatest fear should not be a failure, but come on, but exceeding that, something that doesn't really matter. Man, this is reality. The reality is this the average person has 28,835 days to live and I don't want you to get to day 28,834 and say, man, I didn't do what I was supposed to do with my life. I don't want you to get to that moment and think, man, what did I do? I want us all to hit the correct bullseye and I want to make sure we're all aiming and hitting the right target. Here's the thought Everyone ends up somewhere. Everyone ends up somewhere. Well, every single person, you're going to go somewhere with your life. So here's the thing Few people end up somewhere on purpose. Few people end up somewhere on purpose, and that's what today is about, and I'm going to try to get our church, every single one of us, to hit the right target, to get us somewhere on purpose with people who are living on purpose. Okay, so here you go.

Speaker 1:

If you've been around LVC for any length of time, one thing you've probably heard me say over and over and over again is is this, is this, is this we exist to help everyday people learn how to become Jesus followers. That's our goal, that's our mission, and the reason why I say that over and over again is not just, not just so I can be clear. My job is just to bring clarity. My job is to help help bring next steps for your life, too, is to help bring next steps, and so we want we, we exist to help everyday people learn how to become Jesus followers. And again, those words are very intentional, every single one of them. And the way everyday people become Jesus followers is by. This is by. We will help people be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do the stuff that Jesus did. We're going to help everyday people be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do the stuff that Jesus did, and I love it because it's so simple and it's beautiful, and that's what we want for people. Let me say it one more time what we want for people, not from people, what we want for people is in their everyday lives. They can be with Jesus, become like Jesus and do the stuff that Jesus did.

Speaker 1:

Let me break it down for you. Point number one is this be with Jesus. So I don't know what you think Christianity is, but Christianity is not attending LVC. Christianity is not. Christianity is not is not only reading the Bible either, and it's not just singing some songs every once in a while. Let me ask you to put it this way being a Christian isn't just believing in God. A lot of people believe in God. You don't know what being a Christian is.

Speaker 1:

Being a Christian, jesus has called us to follow him, and to follow him you have to surrender your life to him. To follow him, you have to surrender. Mark says it like this in Mark, chapter eight. It says this Jesus said then he called the crowd. So, jesus, he called the crowd. Jesus always had people hanging out with him. Jesus always had people all over him. They were hanging out with him listening to his stuff, and he called the crowd. Here you go. They were already with him. The crowd was following him, but he called the crowd to him because he wanted to take them on a deeper level. He was ready to take the crowd to a deeper level and you may be like, well, I'm here, I'm here on eye, I'm here more weeks than most people and that's true, and that's good, that's great. But here you go.

Speaker 1:

Jesus isn't calling us to have a crowd kind of Christianity, he isn't calling us to be a Christian in the crowd. He's calling us to follow him. Check this out, he says. Then he called the crowd to himself, along with his disciples, and says this whoever wants to be check out the word here, my disciple, must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. Notice the depths of which he is calling us to, not just to be a crowd person, but to be a follower of him, for whoever wants to save their life will lose it. Whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. Then he takes it even deeper. He says what good is it for someone to gain the whole world? What good is it if you got the car you wanted, the spouse you wanted, the house you wanted the stuff you wanted, but you're still empty inside? But you still have this deep level of emptiness? Yeah, he says because, yeah, forfeit your soul, or what can you give in exchange for their soul. If anyone is ashamed of me, in my words and this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will be ashamed of them when he comes to his father's glory with this. Holy angels, and check this, notice the depth he took the crowd to.

Speaker 1:

Now, I wanted to find this, but two action statements, okay, two things I've wants you to get from this, two practical applications is this? The first one is surrender your life to his will and his ways. Now, that word surrender, man, we don't like that word today. Surrender, give over, hand over, willingly choose. Surrender your life. And when we think about surrender, though, we should never surrender to someone who doesn't have unconditional love for us. You should, you, good, good beast, got the call to the word surrender, but I'm going to say surrender to a holy and perfect God, because he hasn't failed and he won't fail with you. And so we surrender our lives to his, to his life, to his will and his ways. And this is really what salvation is all about. This is what we mean when we say man. We want to help people who are poor, far from God. Come to know God. This is what this means, cause the word salvation really means it's. It's surrender. It's surrender.

Speaker 1:

It says I'm going to decide, I'm going to make a willing decision and I'm going to decide to let go of control. Come on, that's hard. I'm going to let go, go out of control, cause here's the thing, though, about control, but we all discover, about the things that we tried to control, we didn't have as much control as we thought we did, do we? But I'm going to willingly let go of what I think I can control, and I'm going to hand it over to Jesus and let him control me. I'm going to let his word, his life, his way. I won't let myself get in the way. I won't let negative, hurtful people get in the way. I won't let my feelings get in the way. I won't follow my feelings, but I will follow God's direction.

Speaker 1:

And the second one is this, and I'll preach the importance of this one every day for the rest of my life, when I'm dead and buried. This point I'm about to say right here, this is what I hope everyone remembers me by. I actually did that practice. One day I wrote my own obituary. It was kind of sad, but it was really helpful.

Speaker 1:

But this is one thing I want everyone to know me by that Jacob said to them spend daily time with God, spend it. And here's the reason why. Here's the reason why I want you to spend daily time with God because a church will fail you, people will let you down. People have flaws and issues and all that good stuff, but when you spend daily time with God, your relationship with God won't hang on a church or a function or a group of people, but on the spirit of God. And so you got to spend daily time with God. Here you go. I know I love to preach and I hope you apply what I preach, but you take it to the Lord. You spend time with God about it. So and I don't know who needs to hear this but God is calling you out of a crowd of Christianity into a deeper level of faith, into a deeper level, to spend daily time with him.

Speaker 1:

You may be listening today, you may be. You may even say man, I don't even know if I have a relationship with God. You may be thinking that he's up and all that stuff kind of made up and fake. Anyways, no, no, no, no, no. God is more real than the air you breathe and he's closer than the best friend. And you, today, have this feeling in your heart that, man, there has to be more to my life than this. There has to be more to my life than the sickness, more to life than this depression, more to life than that negative person that keeps getting under my skin. More to life, and I'm going to tell you this you may feel like you have a God size hole in your heart today and I want you to know that God wants to fill it up. He wants to bring you purpose, enjoy and vision for your life.

Speaker 1:

Again, I love that we have our young people in here today because throughout scriptures, it was the young people that changed the world. Throughout scriptures, jeremiah he was in his early teenage years when he went to the nations we see through the disciples. They were young adults just out of high school when Jesus selected them. Throughout scripture, it was the young people that flipped the world upside down. So, young person, I want you to know today don't let anyone look down on you because of your age, but lead the way in purity and life and love and joy. Come on, I want to be up so you may be thinking to yourself.

Speaker 1:

There has to be more to life and I'm going to be so upfront with you. Yes, there is. There is more to life than just going through the routines, than just trying to make it and try to serve the two head giant of consumption and production. There is more to life. There is a life lived for Jesus. That is the best life possible. It's a life when you say I'm going to help my fellow brother and sister. It's a life that says I'm going to sacrifice my comforts and inconvenience my life for the better of this world. There's a life that is better.

Speaker 1:

To be with Jesus is what we want, and friends, that's what our Sunday service is for. That's what we do Sunday. We want to create environments where people can be with Jesus. We want to have fun, safe kids environment so kids can learn about Jesus while their parents can feel relaxed and knowing they're in a good environment and they can sit in the service and take a break for for 65 minutes and hear something fresh. That's what we want to have next year. We're starting our monthly youth meeting that they meet outside of church because we're believing that God to grow our youth ministry next year. I mean we're doing all these things because we want people to be with Jesus, friends by the end of quarter to next year, so by the end of the school year.

Speaker 1:

I want our church to grow by 10. New families by 10, they don't all have to be families, they can be single people, come on. But I want our church to intentionally grow, and it's not just so we can put butts in chairs, it's not just so we can get bigger for the sake of numbers, because each empty chair in this auditorium represents a family, a generation, a person who is desperate for God, and we got to provide a place for them to be with Jesus. That's what we're called to do. Okay, here you go.

Speaker 1:

Second point is this number two. Number two I'm going to speed up a little bit Become like Jesus. We want people to become like Jesus. The other way you can put it is like this we want people to be made new by Jesus. We want people to be made new by Jesus. Here's the thing Even if you have said yes to Jesus, even when you say yes to Jesus, that doesn't mean all your baggage disappears.

Speaker 1:

When you say yes to Jesus, that means you still have junk up in that trunk. That was okay, I try. Just because you say yes to Jesus. Yes, your sins are forgiven man, but we still have addictions. We still have habits that we don't want. We still do things that we ask ourselves why do I do that again? Why do I go there again? Why do I take my thought and life there again?

Speaker 1:

Friends, the book of Philippians in the Bible says we have to work out our salvation. Have you ever been to the gym? I wish, man. I wish, I wish. When I went to the gym, man, I did one set of arm curls Boom boom. Chest press, boom, boom. Leg press, bam. I wish. As soon as I walked out that gym I looked like Dwayne de Rock, johnson. I don't. What you have to do, you have to work out consistently and over time you get the results you want.

Speaker 1:

To become like Jesus is about being consistent. It's about, over time, consistently picking the things of God. And here you go. And when hardships happen because they will happen Jesus warned us. He says take heart, for I have overcome the world. But in this life you will have trouble, but I have overcome the world. You will have hardship, but it's in the hardship that we learn something, that we learn something very important we learn that in the hardship of life, we don't have to try to get over it. But the hardships of life is a training field and to be a disciple and apprentice of Jesus. You're not just trying to do better, you're not just trying to have behavior modification, because you can't behave yourself to doing the things that you thought yourself into doing. But over time you can be in training and you can take the things that try to take you out and is building you up to be the person God is calling you to be.

Speaker 1:

Let me put it this way to you. Let me put it this way there's four things. There's four things that we're always dealing with. The four problems we're always dealing with is this it's our past, it's our pain, it's problems and people Four Ps. Sometimes those four things are all integrated as one. It's our past, our pain, our problems and people.

Speaker 1:

What I love about being the Jesus follower is this is that those things that try to take us out can be the very thing that God uses to bring us freedom in our lives. Friends, next year I am so excited for this Next year, this upcoming year we're going to offer a small group called freedom and in this small group, what you're going to learn is how to find freedom from your yesterday hurts, so that you can live in your tomorrow in a place of freedom. Because, guys, we can't waste one more day carrying on to yesterday's tragedies without hope for a future. And the beautiful thing about heaven and so that's talking to someone about this other day the beautiful thing about heaven is that we have a hope that surpasses our current circumstances. It's a beautiful picture, and when I think about freedom, though, you might know who I think of. I think about freedom, I think of William Wallace.

Speaker 1:

You wanna ever see the movie Braveheart? All the youth back there are like what movie is that? It's a classic. Back in my day we made movies that matter. Okay, I'm sorry, but I think about William Wallace, and I love that.

Speaker 1:

There's this one scene in the movie. He's trying to encourage this small Scottish army to fight this overwhelming English army, and he asks them what are you gonna do? And they all say we about to run, we're running, and I love this, I love William Wallace, and he says run and you'll live at least for a while, and then dying in your beds many years from now. Would you be willing to trade all those days, from this day to that one, for one chance, just one chance that's how he said in the movie I could put some blue face paint on Just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives but they'll never take our freedom. And what he is trying to say to them is this this is the moment that you're done being dominated by an enemy, and I wanna let some people in here know today that 2024 is the moment, is the year that you are done being dominated by an enemy. You're done with being dominated by the enemy of depression, by the enemy of anxiety, by the enemy of fear, by the enemy of addiction. You're done being dominated and there is a life of freedom for you, a life that, when you wake up, you are joyfully and wonderfully made in God's image and you know you can take on.

Speaker 1:

Today. There's a life for you that has freedom for you and friends all around us. There are people all around us. Don't be confused by people's wealth and by people's jobs and by people's stuff. There are people who are searching for freedom. There are people who are dying from emptiness inside of them. And let it be said of the church that provided a place for people to find freedom from their addictions. Amen. If I got a real kill and put some blue face makeup on, I'll do it because there's freedom. There's freedom when people can become like Jesus, when they can navigate the complexities of life with a heart like Jesus and friends.

Speaker 1:

This is what we want for our city, this is what we want for our city, this is what we want for our neighborhoods, this is what we want for our small businesses and that's why our local miracle gift we're going to intentionally go after our small business owners, because those are the people that have influence. And then we want to influence the people that have influence so that we can be an influence to our community. Friends, friends, friends. This message is too good to sit on it. This message is too good to just let the enemy who's doing two of days.

Speaker 1:

Nowadays, I can't talk to one person who isn't going through something that has a heartbreak or a trip up or something. Every single person. The enemy out here doing two of days while the church is sitting sipping on our pina coladas at the beach Church. It's time. It's time because what we're going to do, we make it practical. I'm running late. Okay, here you go, lvc, we're going to go for it. We're going to go for it. How are we going to do this? Let me make it plain for you how are we going to do it. I want us to get sin out of our lives. I want us to get sin out of our lives. Two ways to get sin out of your lives. I'm going to make it simple for you. You go to God for forgiveness. You go to God's people for healing Some of you. You got to go to God part down pat. You got more confessions than usher. But the next step, the next step, you got to find that person, and that's why, next year, we are committed to be a church of groups. We're committed to being a church of groups.

Speaker 1:

This upcoming year, we are investing more of our resources into small groups, and that's why we're hosting our first small group leader training and a host home training, and because we're serious about helping everyday people learn how to become with Jesus, become like Jesus, and I'm going to. I want to speak to some people in here today, people sitting on the sidelines for too long. Now is your time to make a difference. Now is your time. We're going to do this training. And the reason why? Because we want to get people in small groups this year because we want people to get in a group of godly friends. This upcoming semester, I know, as we grow our church, more here's the truth more on church, people will go to a small group that you are hosting our leading than come to a Sunday service. Because you got the relational equity there. You got a relational connection there. So I want, I want us to do that, I want us to go after it that way. And then dang, I lost my point. Here you go. And then the second thing is this I want us so again, we're going to have a lot of attentionality into our small groups. We're going to have paid childcare groups at people's homes this year. Food budgets, come on Small group activities, because we want people to get honest with the few of them.

Speaker 1:

Don't get honest with all of them. You don't want to overshare. One time Aaron went on a date when she was in college. She went on a date with this guy. I think he took her to Denny's or something like that. That was the first mistake. But they went on his date and he poured out all of his childhood traumas over some pancakes. She said I got to get up out of here she did, and then she met the real thing. You don't want to overshare, but you want to get some good people around you and have them do life with you and not meant to do life alone.

Speaker 1:

Proverbs 27, 19 says a mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses. Here you go, I got some good stuff. I'm going to have to share this online. Here you go. I'm going to skip to my last point. Here you go. Last point is this Do the stuff Jesus did.

Speaker 1:

Do the stuff Jesus did and finally, do the stuff Jesus did. What did he do? He did two things. First thing is, he reached lost people. That was his primary mission. His primary mission was to reach lost people. That was the primary focus of his mission, and this is what he challenged us to do. Check this out. It says this.

Speaker 1:

And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, simon called Peter Andrew, and his brother casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. He said to them follow me and I will make you what More spiritual, more Godly, give you that relationship, give you that prosperity gospel. No, no, no, no, he said, if you want to be a God, you have to be a God. No, he said, if you follow me, I will make you what Fishers of men. They immediately left their nets and followed him. Let me put it this way Followers fish, and next year we about to do some fishing up in here. We about to do some fishing up in here because there's people in our communities that need the hope of Jesus, and we're going to do some fishing. We got events. We got strategic events. We got spring events, fall events, sermon series, all these different things, so we can go fishing. Our first fish is this I made these little cards and a six pack. That's what I called them. I thought that was clever. I got six invite cards.

Speaker 1:

Next week starts at the movies. Let's pack this place out. Be praying about one person that you can invite. Come on, it takes all of us. It takes all of us to do it. And then, last thing is this Followers serve, we fish and we serve. This is to my father's glory that you bear much fruit, showing yourself to be my disciples. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Speaker 1:

Why do we serve? We don't serve. It's a fill of function at a church. We serve because the spiritual gifts that God has given us are meant to be used for His glory. And so, if you have a gift of leadership, it's time for you to lead. If you have a gift of discernment, you can. It's time for you to join our prayer team and start praying for people. If you have a gift of administration, please, lord, help me. If you have a and it's not just here you go. The function of your gift, yeah, it helps the church, but it actually helps you function as a disciple. And so this year, friends, 441 chairs in this auditorium.

Speaker 1:

Peter preached a message. 5000 came to know him. This is because the numbers matter. Numbers do matter. You want to know why they matter? Because they represent people 441, 441 people that matter. They matter to me, but we want to know who they matter more to. They matter more to God. And he chose I ain't going to ask him why, but he chose to grow his church through us. He said I'm going to use them.

Speaker 1:

So, friends, let's do it, let's go for it, let's see what God can do with a bunch of people like you and me. So, god, jesus, holy Spirit, we thank you for your goodness. We thank you for your mercy. Hey, god, we give you. This church is yours. Have your way with it, breathe on it, lord.

Speaker 1:

Surprise us, lord, even the story when Jesus calls those disciples, he goes, he takes them out fishing and they caught more fish in the moment they were with Jesus and the scripture says they were shocked by the miraculous sign. God shocked us in our lives with your miraculous work. Leave us speechless, god. We just ask for our own personal lives. Lord, when you're lacking vision for your personal life, I see some people. You lack in vision in your marriage. God, give people clarity. You lack in vision with your kids. You have the end of your rope.

Speaker 1:

I feel like the Lord is saying remember the person I put in your heart when you gave birth to them. Speak that over them. And young people. I feel like the Lord is saying it's time to drop the entitlement. You're not entitled to anything. You are to serve God and go after him. Come, holy Spirit, that's what the Lord is saying. Where you are experiencing heartbreak, god is near the broken heart. Give up yet, but those words sink in your heart. Don't give up yet, god, we love you in this place. We need more of you in Jesus' name, amen, amen. We have some praise in here today.
